The 10th National Symposium on polymer materials science and Engineering had been hold in Guilin from November 1st to 5th, 2016. Four students including Chao Lv, Gong Wang, Qing Shi and Ying-Shuai Wang attended this symposium. All of them gave presentations at the symposium. This symposium focus on the latest research of polymer material, which includes six themes: synthesis of polymer materials, structure and properties of polymer materials, polymer materials processing and molding, polymer matrix composites, functional polymer materials and natural/environmentally friendly polymer materials. There are 311 talks and 208 presentations on this symposium.
Since 1998, National Symposium on polymer materials science and Engineering has been hold 9 times in Shanghai, Qingdao, Wuhan, Mianyang, Guiyang, Nanchang and Chengdu, which becomes very important conference in the field of polymer materials in China.
