Recently, the chemical society of Japan presents the "The Distinguished Lectureship Award " to Prof. Qi-Dai Chen for his "work for femtosecond laser chemistry" in the 2015 society conference (Chiba, Japan).  He was also invited to give a talk titled "Femtosecond Laser Micro-Nano-Fabrication：A Universal Machine Tool for Diverse Materials".
