Prof. Sun, from the Hokkaido University visited C-UFO on 7th July, 2014 and gave the public talk on "Probing the near field and dynamics of plasmonic nanostructure by photoemission electron microscopy". Prof. Qi-Dai Chen hosted the talk. 

Prof. Sun received his Ph.D. from Peking University in 2006. After completing a post-doctoral study at Laval University, he was appointed as an assistant professor in Hokkaido University. Prof. Sun's main research interests include nanophotonics, non-linear optics and Laser-micro-processing.
